The Roland Ruby Biography in Pictures
Roland Ruby is a lifetime member of the International Society of Bassists (ISB), which has bailed him out of "bassless" jams while travelling. He goes back and forth between the NYC area and South America. And someday plans on returning to Paris.
Roland Ruby won't discuss much of his past so he had us throw these photos together, which span from the late 1800's to the dawn of Ruby music. He did point out that a near death incident as an infant may be responsible for shaping his unique approach to creativity, life and beyond.
